The Road Gets A Trailer (finally)

Francis Ford Coppola’s Tetro

Working in (mostly) black and white…I can’t say that I am too thrilled that Vincent Gallo is one of the leads.

Death Star over San Francisco

Exit Ghost by Philip Roth (52 books, 13 Down, 39 To Go)

The last Roth novel I read was American Pastoral. I read it several years ago and remember it being quite excellent. Apparently this time around I’ve skipped two books in the Zuckerman sequence and proceeded to what Roth says will be the final Zuckerman book. Over the past few years, Roth’s novels have seemed to get ever slimmer. I get the feeling that Roth has a lot less to say these days, especially after reading Exit Ghost. The book is a slight, easy read, a bit on the boring side. Boring enough that I don’t really have anything to say about it.
